Sd card and note 4

I was advised to scan my SD card. I did there were errors. I did an image backup on my computer, formatted the SD card. Now I don't how to put the image backup file back on the SD card. Please help

It would have been better to backup whatever files you could to the computer, rather than a disk image. If the problem was due to corrupted files, then a disk image will put the corruption back onto the card.

What process did you use to save the disk image?

I used a win32 disk image maker...it reads the SD card and makes a backup file, but I don't know the file extension to use.
