SD Card Format Options

So I just received my 64GB EVO SD card from Amazon. I'm looking into using the ExFat format so I can transfer files larger than 4GB. Are there any cons to this format? Are there any other formats I should consider using?

Also, can I format to ExFat using the Note 4, or will I have to use my PC?

If you format through the phone, it does so using ExFAT. Your phone can also read FAT32 cards, but it won't recognize NTFS (Microsoft's proprietary file system).

You can also format your card with ExFAT using your PC.
