SD card from G5 to G6 without formatting?

Hey all,

On a bit of a whim, I decided to take advantage of B&H's current deal for the G6 and LG Watch Style bundle for $600 USD.

Anyway, being a former LG G5 owner I'm wondering if I can just swap the SD card from my G5 into my G6 without formatting? It would save a lot of hassle re-loading all my music etc.

For what it's worth the only thing stored on the SD card is media. No apps or system stuff.

Shouldn't have any issues at all. I've swapped mine over a bunch of devices from different brands and never had to reformat.

I transferred the card from my S7 to my S8, would assume your would work also. I would stick it in a PC and back it up though

Mine swapped out without any issues.

Took mine from my G4 and just popped it into my G6. No problems at all.

It shouldn't matter swapping into any phone.
