SD card goof on my part?

I don't know how I managed this, or how long its been like this. Went to download the new update and got a message that I had no room on my SD card. Went into Settings>storage and it looks like my SD card is partitioned out, its an 8 gig card. Telling me total space is only 662mb, out of available 8.00. Then down below the internal storage it says "Additional storage:/mnt/emmc, 6.59GB, Available 6.58. Nothing is getting moved over to that huge partition. Has to be a silly setting somewhere I'm just not seeing right? Please?

I'm prepared to do a full wipe and reinstall of CM7.02 if needed to fix the problem.

emcc is the internal storage for the device. It's not used much except as storage for Pics (default location for the camera is emcc/DCIM), Video (ditto) and music, if you put it there. So the "huge partition" you are seeing is the 8 gig internal memory of the device.

I would get Astro or one of the other free file mangers from the market and look at what is on your SD card itself. (You could also mount to the computer as a HD and do this.) You probably just need to delete old stuff that has accumulated over time; move pics and or videos stored on the SD to your Computer or delete old app directories from apps that you do not have/use anymore.
