Sd card not working

[Android Central Question]

I recently bought a 8gb sandisk sd hc memory card. It was working fine at first, but after a few days it stopped working. I inserted it in an another phone, but still not working. Both the devices are not detecting the card. I am using a Samsung galaxy grand prime+ running on marshmallow. And i am pretty sure that it is a genuine product. It came with sealed genuine packing.
Is my phone responsible for this or is it because of any other reason ?

Please tell me a solution.

That's the nice thing about SanDisk - go to SanDisk microSD Tech Support, the top right, to live chat, and they'll help you. If they determine that the card failed (that's what it sounds like to me), they'll replace it. Fast and easy tech support.
