I'm using the 200 GB SanDisk card that lg gave as a promo with my Lg V10 last year. Never had any issue with it, but now after switching to V20 and Verizon in store employee manhandling it (not being careful and initially putting my sd card in the sun slot) I'm now getting the corrupt crap going on with some of my pics. Will I need to switch sd cards? I assumed this was a good sd card to use with this phone, or is there a better one? I've got a lot of pics..like 12,000!

You could try deleting the "android" "data" and "Lost.dir" folders on the SD card as android then to make those folder on it own and it might have trace data from it that might mess up on others... those folder will be recreated on the new phone.

If that fail... backup without those mention folder, format, and restore.

Have you looked at the contacts on your microSD? Could just be dirty.

No I haven't but since the bright rep at the Verizon store wasn't careful with it that's prob a good idea!

I would just back up your data on that card regardless if the card is still good or not. I've had MicroSD cards just go bad all of a sudden. **** happens so you want to make sure you're prepared.

Have you tried to access your data on a computer to see if it can be read that way?

It sounds like the rep didn't bother to unmount the card from your old phone before removing it. That could cause damage, too. I'm not pushing them, but I've been using nothing but Samsung cards in my devices for about 3 years without any problems whatsoever. The 128MB card in my V20 is the same one I had in my Note 4 and V10 and it's smooth as silk.

I've never had a problem with any brand
