SD Card recommendations?

So I'm looking into getting an SD card. Never needed one before so I'm not really sure where to even start. I'm only looking to put music and pictures on it, so it doesn't need to be top of the line. Any brands to stay away from?

• Sony
• Samsung

......everything else you will encounter read/write issues and failures.

Pny and Kingston have failed me. Ie corrupted.

Sandisk has never failed in any phone

For your needs, any class10 sd card will be ok, and you should also pay attention on quality and reliability. Unfortunately, no strict rules here.
You see, I'm using Kingston sd cards for years, and in this moment I have four of them in my devices. I have never expirienced Kingston sd card failure, but someone else maybe have different experiences.
So, try to buy it from reliable source, and everything should be ok
