sd card

I'm very new with smart phones (this is my first) how do I get the back cover off to add a sd card to my razer maxx? I tried the little slit on left side as directions say, but, it looks like the cocer will break before it will open...it this right?

the back does not come off, there should be a slot for the card. it is on the bottom, left hand side near the menu key. Look at page 2 of the owners manual.
