SD notification keeps defaulting back to stock sound

Hey all,

I end up having to re-assign the tone that i select under "SD Activity" notification (which is the default notification tone for the phone) every single day on my Droid Bionic.

That's the only tone that seems to reset itself. Any thoughts? I am not using any task managers (as I read may be a problem from other threads).

I had this same mystery problem and posted a thread on it here a while back. No one had an answer, but I eventually determined it must have been the specific tone itself. When I selected a different tone, there the problem disappeared and everything worked fine.

Try a different tone and see if it makes a difference. Someone in one of the forums said notification tones get corrupted from time to time and this would have a negative effect such as what you (and I) experienced.
