sd wont mount in recovery

i tried to change roms i wiped data and cache then did dalvic wipe. now i get
E:Cant mount /dev/block/mmcblk() (or /dev/block/mmcblk()p1)
(no such file in directory)
E:Cant mount /sdcard

sd wont mount ine recovery

im using clockworkmod recovery v2.5.0.1

You have to go to partitions and select the first option by hitting the power button. you'll then have the sd card mounted.

i did and i get

hmm.. stupid question, but have you had issues with your cable not being able to connect through disk drive before?

no i have not had that problem

Can you reboot into your Rom and see if your SD card will mount while youre booted?
