Search in GIF keyboard?

This looks like you're searching gifs through Verizon Message+ app? That's different from searching using the Samsung keyboard.

For everyone struggling to get gifs to insert into texts on the stock Samsung Messaging app, try Gboard. It works great. Tap the emoji face at the bottom, then select gif and search at the top for the gif you want.

I dont know if someone already posted this. But i had the same issue and.... all of a sudden my brain did what i was suppose to do previous the update. Just click on the emoji button and then it will give u the options of emoji and gif

Dear Samsung S9 users,

This is what I've found to access your GIF keyboard. When you go to your texting app that SAMSUNG provided, not the Message+ app by Verizon, and open up a thread, there should be your "Enter message" bar. To the left is the "+" and to the right is the square smiley with the play button (pictured below). Click that square smiley with the play button, NOT the button underneath the "Enter message" that says "GIF" with a play button. It'll tell you that data rates may apply; press "OK" or whatever it says. Then two possible options will show up under the Enter message bar, Sitckers and GIFs. If you click GIFs, a Search box will appear and you can type in the type of GIF you're looking for. Pictures to show how it's done! Hope that helps.
