Search in the Phone app - no company name?

So is it just me or does the ICS Phone app not search the Company Name field when using search? How can this be? Google is Search. Search should find everything on my phone.

It works fine in the Contacts app. But in Phone no worky.

Yeah it is just one app, but it is a Google app, and did I mention Google does this search thing? How can something like this slip through the cracks? I clearly cannot be the first to notice this.

Cant say ive ever actually tried to search for a business from the phone app....i use voice actions for that.......call....name of business....town....state........bam. It is amazing how differently we all use our phones.

Nah he's saying that he has certain contacts where he has the 'Company' field filled in for their contact info, and he'd like to search for those contacts by entering in the company name.

Easy fix: create a contact group with all those contacts in it
