Search suggestions stopped working in chrome browser?

Can anyone confirm this? The 'search as you type' feature doesn't seem to be working when typing a search in the address bar in Chrome browser. I even uninstalled and re installed. Yes, I have the option checked for allow search suggestions under the Privacy settings. Whats going on?

I'm not on 4.4, but I am having the same problems on my Chrome browser on my Note 2 running 4.3. I noticed the search suggestions stopped working today, only showing things I've already searched in for in the past. You're definitely not alone.

Confirmed by a couple others on reddit as well. Just going to have to wait this one out...

Works for me but I'm on the Chrome Beta.

EDIT: Just realized I still have the regular Chrome browser on my phone and the search is not working

Thats correct it didnt work in url bar. I usually search as the pic shows tho

The issue seems to have corrected itself.
