Second Hand Note 7 Recall Thread

Today, I tried to call both Samsung and Tmobile for refund my note 7. Their answer was similar to last week. I have to find original buyer and proof of purchases. The situation is same as last week. What should I do ? It seems that Samsung treats customers cases by cases. Someone can and someone cannot. What should I do? Very confused.

Tell them it's a gift.
 
I am interested. Yesterday, I called Samsung again. Agent told me that Samsung has not announced any policy on recall used note 7 yet. He told me to find original buyer or contact Samsung again next two weeks. Samsung tried to manage this issue by throwing away responsibility back to us who bought used note 7. It is definitely unfair.
 
I still have not received my fireproof box. How long did it take to receive a box to those who got them? Thanks.

-if Toyota recalls an airbag because of a safety hazard, they won't tell you at the dealer "sorry, we can't help you because you bought the car used. You have to contact the original owner of the car. Now **** off!" Yet, this is exactly what Samsung is doing. I really ******* hate them and hope this puts them under. We need to do a class action suit
 
checked on my #511 ticket today. They were able to locate it (was transferred to someone in the US ) but said there was something wrong with the ticket and issued me a new #511 ticket. Said the boxes now take 2-3 business days, and i should expect it by Thursday. At least they seemed more organized this time when i called as they were able to pull up my details from the previous ticket compared to friday when one couldnt find it, one said it was closed and one said it was still being processed.
 
I can confirm they are blacklisting the imei after you call and start the refund process it happen to me. its imei is blacklist on sprint but using on att untill they pass the info to all carriers then ill be dead. awaiting a shipping box from samsung now

I have not been blacklisted yet. I don't know if that means that my ticket is not processing or if you have something else going on, but no blacklist for mine yet.

Call back and tell them you have a gift phone. I am not sure why you are getting this information. You need to get through to the Note 7 return specialists, which will be after the fist person you talk to.
 
I also bought from CL. I called 844 number and they created ticket for me. They told me that they will contact me in 5-7 business day. Is it seems valid. Anyone was told like that? Thanks for this awesome informative forums though.

Call back and ask to speak with a Note 7 exchange person. They told me at least 5 times someone would call me back, and no one ever did. Their customer service is horrible which is why I will never own another Samsung product.
 
So I just made the call to the Colorado (855) phone number on Sunday and sat on hold for about 1:15 and as finally greeted by a nice individual who asked me if I was calling about the Note 7 recall. I said yes and within a matter of 5 minutes it was all take care of. They said I should receive my box within 3-5 day, 2 days shipping back to them and then receive a full refund check ($849.99 + TAX) within 10-14 days.

They did say that I would receive an email notification, but I have not gotten anything yet. There will be a tracking number for the phone to go back to them so that puts me at rest, but just wondering if I will ever get fully refunded or not.
 
I'm in the same situation. Called this past Wednesday and still haven't received the box. Hopefully todat. If not I ll be placing another call tomor row.
 
So I just tried logging in and checking the status of my Samsung Ticket # and it is saying that no ticket can be found. As I now sit on hold again to get it figured out, what should my next steps be?
 
Not too long of a call maybe 15 minutes tops until all was said and done. Apparently they are sending my information to Stericycle again and I should receive a return kit in 2-3 days. I think I'm going to give them a call just to see if they have received my information or not
 
I called that 855# and it was so easy.. Just gave me them IMEI, model, my info and they are sending me a box tomorrow. No arguments, no hassle, dude just took care of it... Ur a life saver!!!!!
 
I called them last wednesday. Just received a message from UPS that a package from Stericycle is coming my way tomorrow. Finally.
So i guess around 1 week is the time it's taking for most people to get the box.
