Second Screen Light Bleed

I noticed the second screen at the top bleeds onto the main screen, especially at certain angels when turning the phone.

Does everyone's do this to an extent? Or did I just get a special one I need to return?

So far I don't think it adversely affects anything when the main screen is on, but I have not tried to watch a movie or anything yet.

Just took a hard look and I can't see any light bleed from the second screen to the main screen on my V10.

I have it. But it isnt very noticeable. But I am becoming to like it because it brightens up the most recent notification. I don't really notice it when the screen is unlocked.

Thanks for the replies.

Had to go by Verizon to return my phone case that doesn't work with the fingerprint sensor. While there, I looked at their demo phones and they were much worse than mine when it came to the second screen light bleed.

So I'm happy for the time being =)

For me, it mostly happens when the main screen is off and the second screen is on. You may have to go into a dark room to see it.

Here are a few pictures of my light bleed. Really noticeable if you watch a dark movie or anything with a dark scene.

Just curious if mine is normal and comparable to everyone else's or what.

I don't think I could live with that. That's a lot of bleed.
Both displays at my local store are like this, but not that noticeable.

That's too much light bleed. Way too much. Mine is nothing like that... mine is totally dark near those front camera lenses. I would certainly exchange it.

Thanks for the replies. Just needed to make sure I wasn't being nit picky before I returned it.

Not to cross post anything, but if any of you are able to look at my other post about wifidirect issues I'd appreciate it as I'm at a loss on that one.

I just opened the box LG v10 I'm reporting I have zero light bleed this is not I wide spread issue

Very interesting but my V10 has had no light bleed at all until a few days ago. I has looked really closely in all light levels and same none. Now there when the room is dark you can see a large light fan from the 2nd screen down across the top, right 1/3 of the main screen. Not too bad and does not impact anything really, but strange that it was not there for the 1st couple of weeks I had the phone. I just hope it is not a progressive thing that gets worse over time.

It's only an issue to me when in the dark and the screen brightness is up really high. Since I run auto mode on the screen it adjusts down in the dark and doesn't affect me.

My first V10 from tmobile was identicle to that. I bought it on release day, Oct 30th. Worked great, but I didn't like that either. Took it back.

Fast forward about 3 weeks later. Just picked up another that was built Nov 16th. I purchased it yesterday. It works flawlessly even in low light.

Will it hurt the phone? No, not at all. Just more of a nuisance.

Got a November model and it's got the light bleed problem. How do you tell what day it was manufactured?
I see the month on the side of the box but no day.

I have the light bleed as well. Is this something I should think about returning or just deal with it?
