Second Screen Lock Screen Shortcuts

We had a power outage here at work yesterday and I noticed that my second screen app shortcuts are no longer working when the phone is locked. I used to be able to turn on my flashlight without unlocking the phone using those shortcuts. Now none of them seem to work. I couldn't find any setting for these anywhere. I'm using the AT&T version on android 6.0. Anyone have any idea? Maybe AT&T disabled them is a recent update?

Seems strange. Maybe something went wrong but the lock screen shortcuts work regardless if the phone is locked or not normally. It wasnt dead was it?

No it's the shortcuts that appear at the top on the second screen, only when the phone is locked. They are different than the ones that appear when it is unlocked. Not regular lock screen shortcuts but the ones on the second screen. They are sound, wifi, flashlight, and camera and cannot be changed. They are built into the phone and only appear when the phone is locked.

Lol I know what they are as I've had the V10 and now the V20. I'm asking if you're sure the phone didn't die or reboot. I've never run into the issue of the second screen shortcuts not working ever.

Phone has been rebooted several times as I switch out batteries every day as needed. The second screen shortcuts while unlocked work fine. It's just those 4 that appear when locked that won't work. I found the flashlight one quite useful to be able to use without unlocking the phone.

That's strange. I have my phone locked as well and I just swipe up at the top and I'm able to access all the shortcuts I have there.

I know. It's odd. I can't figure out why just those 4 preloaded shortcuts quit working. No other issues with anything on the phone.

Yeah that one has me beat. I check the settings and everything and didnt find anything that disable the shortcuts from the second screen when locked.

Only thing I can figure is maybe a setting in some app I have installed is disabling them. Other than that it may be a hardware issue with the phone. Not going to worry too much about it but may try to check apps at some point. Who am I kidding? This will drive me nuts until I figure it out! LOL

I just switched from my V10 to my g4 and I miss the second screen, especially the flashlight shortcut.

No. What's the procedure to put this phone into safe mode? The only one I could find was for the T-mobile variant.
