I use the shouter app, reads most of the message content, and email tells me heading. same for messenger and face book. I only answer if I need to respond right away

I use to carry two phones but now that 1 phone is the price of 2 I've stopped! lol I don't even upgrade annually anymore! Still rocking my good ol S20 Ultra and carry a 6th gen iPad that doubles as a laptop in a little bag when I need to.

You sure are right about the "one phone being the price of two" thing... Bah!

24 hours in and I'd say this will never be my primary phone as it's just too compromised and annoying AF because you can't reply to messages without opening the phone every single time. if you leave it open all the time as a work around then it invites direct comparison to the S21s and it fails by almost every metric.

That being said, it's amazing for a second phone, for throwing it in your pocket for a night out etc. feels so good in the hand(ladies....) the display somehow seems a little crisper than my ultra. Also the speakers seem louder and cleaner than the ultra also. The haptics are quite good and I seem to by typing better due to the narrow profile.

in short, best second phone ever. a more interactive outer display and beefier battery would change the dynamic.

It will be interesting to watch the growth of this design over the years, as we did with the S line. I love the form factor so much, I'll likely trade it in every year for the newer, more advanced model.

After hemming and hawing I finally bit the bullet and ordered one. I'll try it for a couple of weeks and see how I like it.
