Secure Folder uses Data?

So I literally set this app up last night, and it's already used 39mb of data and counting. I don't have a lot of data to begin with but this is just absurd! Why is a folder that is supposed to be secure, doing any background internet operations at all?

When I say Data, I mean internet data. Why is this using INTERNET Data

It probably isn't, but the folder itself takes an entry in the directory of some folder, so that uses storage. And anything you put into that folder uses storage - and it shows as storage for that folder.

Why is it using Internet Data, not storage on my phone.

The app is certainly not acting as one would expect, if it is really using any internet data.

I would uninstall it.
