Will the secure folder files transfer over through smart switch? I did a back up just to make sure. I don't many pictures but I want to transfer them over to my S10 plus.

Smart Switch reminded me to backup my secure folder on cloud after the main backup was done. Did that happen for you?

Not got my S10 yet but my partner her pics on secure folder still comes up on google photos on her S8

It does not get backed up on Google photos. If you move it out of the secured folder it may back up to Google photos if that particular folder is set to back up

I see so what if you have it in your regular folder for a few days before deciding to move it to secure folder does it stay in google photos?

Yeah. Go to settings and select the folders you want to backup and uncheck the ones you don't want to. See screenshot
