secure way to store passwords?

Is there a way to create a secure file on this device that can keep passwords? I see that there is the "Keeper" app pre installed but I can't stand how there is this little floating lock icon by the address bar. I have some sites that I am always signed on and seeing this annoys me to no end. The apps on the play store all seem to have this feature. I just want an app to securely store passwords to sites that I am not always logged into in case I forget them. For reference only. Any ideas?

I don't store passwords ...not safe imo even with those apps on pc that say they are I don't trust either lol

Chrome browser will save & sync all your passwords for sites. I wouldn't use it for banking etc but fine for basic everyday stuff.

There is a secure storage area on the note 4, you could keep a file there.

Lastpass will save passwords. I think you can tell it to save locally.

You could create a text file with all of your password, and save that file in the "private mode". so the only way to see the passwords is to activate private mode that it self requires a password of fingerprint swipe.

Keepass works well. It has versions for Desktop (Windows, Linux and I think Mac) as well as phones so you can use the same app everywhere. Just remember to keep your password file safe and secure.

Huge lastpass fan here myself.

IMO storing many unique passwords in a manager is far better than having fewer unique ones in your head or saved in some local file.

I have been using RoboForm for years on my PC's and Android devices which all sync to one another. You can also save notes and other data in encrypted form with this program which has a free version in the App Store.

I use colornote. Ou can password protect one certain list. I use it for storing email passwords and gun serial numbers and such.

It works well and its easy to modify if you change a password

Huge fan of LastPass. I use the chrome extension on my desktop too. It will generate complicated passwords for new sign ups. it all syncs to your phone as well.
I like that its compatible with the fingerprint scanner.
