Security issue?

I just found that when on the lock screen, if I swipe left without entering my unlock pattern, the camera opens. This is a nice feature, but the problem is, once I exit the camera mode I have complete access to my system without ever entering my code. This seems to be à huge security problem. Can anyone else confirm?

By the way, my last posting on security issue, I'm experiencing this from my Nexus 9.

I just did a little test and it only happens when I have my Bluetooth enabled with a trusted device, my ear buds.

This may be a security setting to unlock my device without a pin if it's near a trusted Bluetooth device. The camera part was not relevant. It unlocked just by swiping the lock up. I'll have to find that and disable it just in case I lose my tablet and ear buds together.

Found it. Is called Smart Lock in security settings. I removed my ear buds from the trusted device list. A car or home device would be more appropriate for this trusted device.
