Security issues

I am having an issue with security updates and an app I am using. I have Junos Pulse. Before 4.3, I could log unto my VPN with it and use my intranet web pages from work on my Firefox app. Now I can log in, but only access the web pages on the intranet from within the app. From what I have seen is the security messages are from Android SE which is part of Knox. I have Knox apps running, but cannot access Knox through an app. Is there a change I can make to access my intranet pages outside my Junos app!

Since you didn't mention it did you set up the VPN under settings>connections>more networks>VPN?
