Security patch for April or May?

I seen where others wipe the cache partition after a update. I don't know how to do that. Would you explain how.
VZ May update arrived last night, loaded up well, did the usual wipe cache partition, phone continues to run well.

AT&T Note9 has rolled out April patch on April 22 which my AT&T Note9 has the April Patch build N960USQU4DTC7

You are the man sir. I am currently downloading the file now and as soon as it gets done, I'm gonna try it. I've got some instructions from Mustang and I'll see how it goes. Hopefully.

Disregard download the tools in beginning for the firmware since you have it already.

I'm getting the AT&T May OTA right now, so it's happening in the Northeast! I'll confirm when it's done with an "Edit"...
Update - 5:07PM - Optimizing Apps
Update - 5:14PM - Update Complete Baseband Version N960USQS4DTD6 - Security Patch Level - May 1, 2020

*)&^(&^%#^^)*&^$%$#..... I finally break down, and update to DTC7 via Odin and AS SOON AS I DO THAT, AT&T comes out and releases DTD6 with security level April 1, just 1 hour after I manually update it.. I wonder if this one will come down to me OTA??

Sigh.. just my luck. Oh well.. congratulations. LOL

Wait a day or two and check Brad... fingers crossed for ya'!

Who did you get your phone from Brad, if you don't mind me asking? I've always (except one trade-in deal through Samsung Direct) gone directly to my AT&T Store (I'm lucky enough to have a large Corporate Store about 4 miles from my house) and bought directly from them!

I got mine November of 2018 i believe. Never had any problem with OTA updates until the update in February to 2.0. That one came with the January 1 security patch. Every update since then has been forced. One by UBREAKIFIX, and my last one was through Odin just a day or two ago. The phone was purchased though an AT&T store not too far away and replaced my Note 5.
When I first got it, it was running Oreo. Then the update to one ui 1.0 with all the security updates coming once a month. Then in February 2020 I got the update to 2.0. Since that update, nothing unless I had the update forced in.
Nothing shady in the purchase of the phone, nothing unusual. The only physical problem I've had with the phone was a cracked screen, last month.

Wow, THAT is strange - I wasn't suggesting anything "shady", I meant like Best Buy, Walmart, Target, or somewhere with the AT&T Carrier Plan through one of them. Sometimes they can create wonky crap between peoples phones and the actual Carrier, I think! What's really weird is that you were fine UNTIL the 2.0 Upgrade - that didn't affect mine at all?

The strange part is, when UBreakIFix did the update back in April, it wasn't like with Odin, or when it usually comes down. They WIPED the entire phone out. When I picked it up it was like brand new, fresh from the box. Nothing on it. Took several hours for everything to copy back down again. I figured that would have fixed whatever bug it had by totally replacing everything on it. No such luck though.
I'm about to do another back up with Smart Switch and see if it finds anything this time. Doubtful...

So no one really answered my question. So anyone on T-Mobile that's received April or Mays security patch because I still have not.

tube517 responded that he is on T-Mobile and still on the March patch, like you.

adegbenroagoro responded that he was on the April 1 patch. He didn't specify his carrier, but since he quoted your post presumably he is also T-Mobile.
