Security patch for April or May?

Just updated my Note 9 yesterday, small patch, thankfully, since I'm running it on Hotspot. But still loving it!

So no one really answered my question. So anyone on T-Mobile that's received April or Mays security patch because I still have not.

I'm on T-Mobile and am still on the March 1st Security Patch.

At this point I'm wondering if they are waiting to release security patches with the UI 2.1 Update.

My husband has a S9 Plus on T-Mobile. He got an update a few days ago I'm assuming it was a security update as it was from T-Mobile. I didn't check to see what it said.

tube517 responded that he is on T-Mobile and still on the March patch, like you.

adegbenroagoro responded that he was on the April 1 patch. He didn't specify his carrier, but since he quoted your post presumably he is also T-Mobile.

I apologize for “bursting your bubble” but I'm not even in the same country as you. I have an unlocked international version and presently have the May security patch. Sometimes I get it early and sometimes very very late.

This would be my guess as well but I have no proof so just a hunch.

I'm still on March 2020 security patch.

Ok, so we seem to have a problem with the updates for T-Mobile and AT&T that sounds like it started with the update to 2.0 and it's not everyone that has the problem. A common app loaded maybe? Could a flaky sim card cause some of the issue? So far since February, I've had a factory reset done by UBreakIFix, and then did an ODIN update and I got up to the current version for a day or so then the new one came out. I'm on DTC7 presently with a security patch of April 1, 2020. According to AT&T, I should be at DTD6 with a security patch of May 1, 2020. The official release date from AT&T for this version was May 22, 2020. Anyone got any ideas? I wouldn't object to running ODIN once a month as long as someone will tell me where to download the update and if it's for AT&T.

Sigh... I really don't want to replace my Note 9 right now... I like this one..

Reuben posts it in this forum every month. God bless him. How is the battery of your Note 9 holding up? My SOT and standby time have significantly reduced since I bought it 18 months ago.

Battery appears to be great. I think that YoubreakIfix replaced it when they replaced the screen. I'd heard someone that this was standard procedure to do both at the same time.
Now I've only done the ODIN update once so I'm still a bit leery about it. The version that Reuben posts is compatible/written for AT&T? I don't want to mess something up badly. I know the ones I used last month ended with ATT.

I thought May 1 was just a security patch. I found two new features in the texting app (Has a category field now.)

There is also a power control icon in the drop down menu now.

What the Hell else changed, I'm here for it. Hehe

They sound like features found in OneUI 2.1

Check in settings-about phone-software information to see if you have been upgraded. Screenshot_20200608-181208_Settings.jpeg

Still 2.0 here as well. I read June is the month for 2.1, so hopefully we'll see it before the New Year. 🙈

I just got the May 2020 patch today. You might want to check to see if you got it.

FWIW, I just received the June 1 security update, but still on One UI 2.0. Unlocked Note 9, on Sprint.
