I noticed that too, but I'm not going to bother subscribing. I don't answer numbers I don't recognize anyway. The spammers also seem to be changing numbers pretty often. Even the reverse lookup sites aren't keeping up.

Yeah, it works about half the time. I've avoided a lot that pop up "survey" or "customer service center' etc from the spammers.

According to the FAQ, it looks like now it'll include basic spam detection free, but the premium features will be a paid service.

I think its temporary.... Kind of like for some it doesn't show up as updated immediately.
I thought mine was completely done so I shut off phone and cleared cache. Then I got a full screen update successful notice.

Yeah I got excited until I realized this is an extra monthly charge 😱

my phone is so much faster after the update. it's so buttery smooth.....I can't believe it's not butter

It's because in Nougat, the web view functions are handled by Chrome and it only allows one enabled at a time. Oddly enough, I've seen bugs related to System Webview needing to be updated.

To do that, you have to disable Chrome, then enable System Webview. Next go into Play and check if the System Webview app needs updating. After updating, enable Chrome again, which will automatically disable System Webview.

There is a developer option to allow both to be enabled at the same time, but it froze my phone when I tried it.
