Question Seeking an app recommendation

I use an app to sync my Outlook contacts with the google (default) contacts app. No issue. However, is there an app, that runs on the phone and doesn't access the cloud, that can sync the contacts between the google contacts app and the google phone app?

The Google contact app syncs with your phone app and you want cloud storage to not lose any of them especially or restoring . It gets dicey using things like sim contacts or other apps as storage those contacts can get lost.

Thanks for the reply. I do NOT want to use cloud storage - google has, IMO, far too much access to our info and I don't want to make it any easier for them. I just looked and it seems that the contact app sync process does use the cloud, or am I mistaken?

Yeah it's cloud, going be tough without cloud back up for the reasons I mentioned, which device do you have by the way?

Yeah looks like another method to try but I haven't had any experience with it , I usually Google cloud back up it runs seamlessly for me between my devices for years .
