I was seriously considering this for the fact that I would never have to worry about battery life on my evo. The thought of watching 4+ hours of movies on a plane for instance. But I would want it to be my everyday battery, and the Seido engineering team should be ashamed of themselves. That thing will make taking the phone in and out of your pocket suck.

Looks kinda cool, actually. The phone is so big anyway, a little girth won't hurt. If it means I'll get 6 hrs out of it instead of 2, I'll take it.

2-3mm thicker my butt! That doubled the thickness of the phone.

Is the 1750mAh worth the investment though? Seidio batteries only yield 85% of the advertised juice. 1750 x .75 = 1487.5 That's less than the original battery.

After 2 1/2 weeks with the phone I'm definently looking forward to this extended battery. My use has grown as I've discovered more capabilities of the phone like streaming twit podcast and my battery is gone in like 4 hours. From the looks of this pic it seems the battery hump at the bottom may assist the kick stand in keeping the evo stable. Hopefully thats the case because I need to be able to use the kick stand.

I dont mind the looks of it but my problem is I have 2 cases already and if they dont have a case I wont use it because there is no way im walking around with my 500.00 dollar phone unprotected... lol

i would rather just have 2 1500 battery's and one external battery charger then that i just cant stand the modded back cover
