Seidio Accessories Now Available

Great report and pix to boot. I have that case on my Centro, and do like how it feels in my hand. It does like lint and is tough to get out of pocket at times, but it never slips from my hand, either. One question, is the top row of the keyboard just as accessible?

The top part definitely blocks the slide where the teeth come in contact with the bottom half. I tried without the back piece on and the slide was just as bad, and it is on very tight and not backwards. My amzer case did not block the slide but it was a piece of crap in most other regards. But its not the end of the world bad, just a little stiff. Other than that build quality is very nice.

I really like this case except for the blaring white logo across the back. This is not how it is pictured on the seidio website photos and I hate those kind of misleading practices. So what the hell Seidio? Amzer just used a photoshop illustration for theirs for a while. FYI, its scratches off pretty easily with your finger nail and no damage to the phone, so I will forgive them.

It also ads a millimeter or two of thickness which is noticeable if you hold someone else's droid afterwards.

Top piece comes right to the edge of the top row of keys so its slightly tight using those.

Hard rubber feels very comfortable.

From a designer standpoint this was probably a very difficult case to make but and is a good result.

9/10 overall

Cases? Who needs one.... This thing is a beast, naked is the way to go. Well unless u have a habit of dropping your phone, then maybe its a good idea.

I got two presents today---my 2.0.1 update and my Innocase. Both were worth the wait.

I had a rubberized case from VZW that I planned to use until I got something better. The case was bulky and it actually tore near the shutter release when I removed it once. Provided good protection but added too much bulk.

The Innocase is a tight fit and a nice, soft finish without being really rubbery or silicone-like and no bulk at all: it's thin but substantial. The cutouts are precise and access to the volume and shutter buttons is good, as is the power/screen lock button. I don't use the physical keyboard, but the case doesn't interfere with opening the phone or the upper keys.

At $30 (less a 10% discount from Seidio) it's a bit pricey, but now that I have it I'm not complaining. I'm very happy. Also very impressed with Seidio's customer service. I ordered this online Wednesday afternoon and it was waiting in my mailbox today (Houston-->Virginia).

I don't mind the logo on the back. If the phone is lying on the table I can't see the back. If it's in my side case, I can't see the back. If I'm using the phone I can't see the back. If someone else sees the logo while I'm using the phone, they will have to do their best to ignore the logo, which is a gigantic 1/8"x5/8". Hardly intrusive.

This case is excellent and I'm looking forward to Seidio's next offerings for the Droid.

Does it fit in the media cldock with this case? How about the car dock?

No it will not fit in either Verizon dock but Seidio has a media dock coming soon that it will fit with or without the case.

I don't use the physical keyboard so I can't really answer your question but it seems it won't get in the way. As for the screen keyboard the case doesn't get in the way.

I am a long time fan of Seidio products. I have spent lots of money in their products yo protect my gadgets because they are top quality and the extended batteries are well worth the money. Customer service is really good. It is good to see them responding to the new devices this fast. I can't wait until that slim battery is out.

I put the Seidio Innocase on the DROID yesterday. It gives a nice soft feel to the phone and the fit is quite good. Yes, the keybd slider is a little stiffer, but the overall effect is very nice. It looks and feels like it is a part of the phone. I would have preferred that Seidio did not put their name on the back of it, but that is to be expected. The case is great!

Thanks, guys. Guess I'll stick with Seido. The Centro case has been just great.

Just a note, got my Innocase today, and it's totally different! It is NOT rubbery. That's both a good thing and an "I wonder" thing. The great thing is that it's slides in and out of your pocket! Woohoo! The doubt part is that I counted on that rubbery surface for two things: keep it in my hand no matter what, and if it didn't, to have some cushion on the bounce. This is very slightly tacky, and I mean very slightly...so I wonder how much protection it provides if dropped. I know, don't drop it. I live in real life tho'. Stuff happens.

All that said, masterful fit and finish as usual. I bought the blue just to be a bit different, and it's a dark, navy blue and not as blue as the pic shows. Very cool.

bump, how is their warranty on the Innocase for Droid?

My Droid's case tab broke off and now doesn't stay on properly

Their customer support sucks! I had the same issue and you and they basically told me to go away...I was at 7 months.
