You end up getting a case with kickstand for $20. For those that haven't seen them, they're thinner than they appear in the picture. Hard to describe the smooth yet firm/sure feel in your hand. Also, the Holster designed for the Surface case usually seems to also fit standat TPU type cases.

The holster is about the best I've seen for anyone that really takes it in and out a lot and has full access to all ports and buttons. Ordered 2 Pixel XL s due January 20th here also. I just purchased a Seidio Dilex with Holster and screen protector. Deal was/is awesome because I didn't think they would open it up for winter holidays when the Dilex was due for the XL

Same here. I have the Seidio Surface case on my Pixel with the holster and it's great.
