Seidio Innocase II

I did a review of their case for the Moto Droid and it took them forever to get back to me after sending them my review. My guess is that who ever I had to send it to might have had to get his boss to approve it or something like that. I ended up posting the review before they approved it and that might be the reason they didn't ask me to do this one LOL.

I dunno they seem relatively fast. They got back with me this morning, said they would let me know. I just didn't think it would take this long to look over a review and give it a thumbs up. Sorry guys wish I could push it to you faster, but they full filled their promise to me, so the least I can do is full fill my end of the deal.

I'll have mine on Thursday and can try and put together another review if it's needed

Hopefully it won't be needed, but someone else's view is always a good thing! I'm sure you'll love it. ;)

I posted my review up in the main view of this sub forum. Hope some of you guys still on the fence find it a valuable resource in helping decide.

How thick or thin is the Seidio case compared to the high gloss silicon from VZW?

If I had to take a guess, because I haven't actually measured, probably about a 1-2mm difference. The InnoII is only 1mm thick. So you should be able to look and take an educated guess.

On the upper piece slightly push the sides together, with the phone flipped face down press down on the middle part where it joins the upper on the lower piece. You will feel a slight "click" then slide it apart. Very easy.

Hmm mine doesn't seem to want to come off so easily. I'll try my case opening tool tomorrow. The one in my bb 9700 used to come right off.

I decided against the innocase because it took awhile to get here.
They make quality stuff, but one issue that would bother me is the cutout or "track" needed to clear the camera when sliding on the case. That is just air between the back of the device and the case.
I can see that becoming a stress point and cracks perhaps?

That's a mistake.
This thing is very solid. I don't feel any gap between the phone and this "camera groove".

The trick is to squeeze the side of the "top" portion of the case right where it touches the bottom portion. At the same time, push the center of the back of the "bottom" portion into the phone. Slides apart no problem. Conversly, to install the case, slide the parts together, and push the top portion into the phone back, right where it touches the bottom portion.

This is covered in the great review mentioned in the OP.

Wrong. There is no "gap". The case is top quality from the previous cases I've used from various other sources. I really didn't like this case very much until I used it.

How then does the case slide over the top of the camera lens?
there has to be a gap no?
I saw your review, nicely done.

I have had innocases in the past but am actually happy with the silicone case......

I got mine yesterday and I have to say that it is just as great as I expected. I had one for my BB Storm, which is why I went for this one. I may buy another one in a different color, I just can't decide.

I didn't have a case on mine before this - I just carried it in a top load belt pouch (still do with the case on now)

I didn't have a case before. I held out for this one because the one I had for my BB was such a great one. Plus, since I'm a girl, of course I have a handy cell phone pouch in my purse. :)

Got my phone yesterday, my Innocase II combo today...loving them both!!!
