SEIDIO OBEX Waterproof Case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

Seems interesting. Biggest flaw is the screen protector is only 4H strong. Not really that strong. Most glass screen protectors I've seen are 9H. You were close to a sale. Sand is a 9H. 4H vs 9H the screen protector will loose every time. Good job though. Maybe when I buy a Note 5 I'll hit you up.

Nice looking but too much bulk for me. Reminds me of the OtterBox and I don't have one of those either because of the bulk.

Notes from Deb's Note 3

How do the dimensions compare to the defender?

OBEX:
Case only: 6.56 x 3.60 x 0.69 in (166.58 x 91.56 x 17.50 mm).
Case+Holster: 6.74 x 3.79 x 1.87 in (171.14 x 96.15 x 47.55 mm).

Defender:
Case: 6.39 x 3.63 x 0.60 in (162.31 x 92.20 x 15.24 mm)
Case with shield stand: 6.61 x 3.88 x 1.37 in (167.80 x 98.55 x 34.80 mm)

My problem with the case is that when someone calls you, they cannot hear you. I have recieved two cases and they both had the same problem. I even called the tech service and went through troubleshooting with them with no good results . I had the only option of sending it back in for the refund, which I didn't want to do because I need a waterproof case as I am an avid fisherman and take many pictures in wet situations.

Re: SEIDIO Releases OBEX Waterproof Case for the Samsung Galaxy Note 3

I know this is a few months old, but.....
The wireless charging back makes the device a bit thicker, so it will not fit in the OBEX as it was designed to precisely fit the stock Note 3.
Too bad. I'd buy it in a heart beat.
Me too. It is unfortunate that case makers do not consider other configurations. A wireless charging cover is a popular option. I think it adds 2mm. Why not make cases with an optional spacer to allow for slightly thicker/thinner cases? This is THE deal breaker for me and waterproof cases (which I desperately desire).
