Selecting email for deletion on GS6, why am I unable to select multiple emails?

Selecting email for deletion on GS6

I just got my S6 and I noticed that on the email client, I am unable to select multiple emails before deleting, unlike the S4 (my last phone). I have to select and delete them individually, as there is no check box.

Kind of counter "smart" since my PC email (thunderbird) has had that function and the S4 had the check function as well. Any fixes?

Are you using the gmail app or the stock app? The simplest solution would be downloading a third party app.

Once again, get K9 the FREE email app. It is much superior to the standard app. Did I mention that it was FREE
