This is not a brick. This is an easy one (should be). Read the thread for the Stock Odin load, and there are numerous posts about the screen you are talking about in the first 10-20 pages. The battery pull method SHOULD be working for you on this one if I recall. I have had that screen lots of times, and worse. Never needed a jig.
Reboot your computer to make sure your USB on the computer is not getting in the way. It can, and DOES, mess up your computer when weird stuff like this happens to your phone. Do the MS fix and reboot.
Pull the battery on your phone.
Open Odin
Connect the phone to rear USB.
Hold VOLUP+VOLDOWN while inserting battery.
I know you said you tried it, but that SHOULD work. Maybe the reboot? If not, read the original threads for the Odin one-click restore to stock, the first 20 pages or so should give you multiple people with that same screen that recovered.
The slightly worse state than where you are at, is no turn on at all, or red text. If you find yourself there, search for RED TEXT in that same Odin one-click thread, and the solution is there.
