Send mms.....

I have to turn on data network now to send mms....never had to before jb update....anyone know if im doing something wrong....using go sms...havent tried stock yet...lmk

Mms has always required a data connection. 3g, 4g or Wi-Fi, it doesn't matter which.

This. So if your data is off and you have no wifi you can't send a MMS. MMS messages require some kind of data connection.

Yes it has always been like that. Mms as in pictures, videos out sound clips have always required data. Sms does not.

I get a message saying I can't send pictures with wifi on, but it still send it.
