Sending 3d pictures

Nevermind, I already answered my own question. Sent it to a friend and it sends in a special format for any 3d capable device

I tried sending one via email to a friend with an EVO3D and he said it didnt show in 3D. Does he have to save it to the phone first or something?

You have to save it first...I emailed a pic to myself and it worked just fine...I did use yahoo though, if that makes a difference...

If it works for you then I maybe doing something wrong, I'm also using the actual gmail app not the email app

Im in the same boat, im not able to send 3d pictures in the normal gmail app, also does anyone know of a messaging app that is able to send 3d pics?

Ok, using the gmail app I emailed myself and i was not able to figure out even how to save it, then i muted it and can't find how to bring it back...I do know for a fact that yahoo works cuz I tried it earlier...on gmail it does show the correct file, but I think there has to be an option to download the actual file in order to get the 3D or else the preview is only 2D, look at the file size in the message, mine was at 1.3mb but the preview was only 63kb so i know the whole file is there, just gotta find a way to extract it...

I know it wasn't quite related but, I was able to e-mail the .mpo picture files off from my evo 3d then downloaded them to my USB memory stick plugged that in to two different Panasonic 3D plasma tv's (mine and my roommates) Both TV's read the .mpo files perfectly and displayed them in 3D. The pictures look good on the phone in 3D but simply amazing when displayed on a 3DTV.

Send through the mail client set up for Gmail, it doesn't work through Gmail app. The email client is much better anyway, with more functionality. Hope this helps someone.

This will probly work cuz with my yahoo running in the email client it works, but gmail app is buggy...

I just tried it with the regular email app with Gmail and it worked. What's the easiest 3rd party app that can work with it?
