Whenever I send or receive a picture message using the stock camera and GO SMS Pro the picture always is sent and received rotated counter-clockwise. When I view the photo in GO SMS it wont allow me to rotate it to view it correctly. Any ideas how to fix this? Thanks

Take the picture holding the phone sideways. Dont know about incoming.

The photos aren't counter-clockwise in the gallery though just when sending them in a message.

Yea. Doesn't matter. Its just the way it is. Like the earth is flat. Your pictures are upside down. Unless your going to do some scientific research and rip apart code.... dont question to accepted theory.

I HAVE SPOKEN!

I already made a thread about this last month. No one had any fixes so I guess it is what it is until Samsung pulls its head out of its butt and fixes this along with the 160 character limit.

You mean Google. Not Samsung.

I don't remember. Did the receiving persons phone get it sideways/upside down? I don't send MMS too much. It's a smart phone. Email. I hate when people send me MMS when they have my email address. pet peeve. lol. (That and SMS when your on my GTalk list and you have an Android.)

+1

Very picky you... :p

SMS and MMS is a dead network man, lol. SMS should be left in the background. For emergencies. Like Morse Code. No one uses it. But everyone knows it when nothing else is working.

I just hate it. Me: Hey you got an Android. "Yea". Cool, what's your Gmail for Gtalk? "What's Gtalk; I don't use it". Now I have to sit there and have a limit on my characters and then the messages get all mixed up sometimes. Cause you have an Android phone and it took you 4 months to create a Google Account and sign in. (True story).

How is it Google's fault when the T-Mobile version works just fine? Also its pretty sad that in the Sprint user manual for this phone it states it will "split the messages into a series when it goes over 160. Nice false advertising...

I've had the same problem happen to me, but only when I send from the camera. If I close the camera, then open GO SMS and send the pic, it works fine.

Kinda of a PITA...but if you crop the image prior to sending, it won't be sideways anymore. Or, I downloaded Vignette to use as my camera app and it works great...doesn't rotate the image at all and has more options than the stock camera.
