Hey guys, just a quick question and thanks in advance for any responses. I am sending in my Droid X to Verizon for a replacement due to some screen issues. Now I did previously root my phone but have since removed it and have been hiding the Superuser icon with launcher pro. I totally forgot this was even on my phone and now I sent the phone back with superuser still on it (not rooted). Do you think this will cause problems with the warranty of the device? Is there even a chance that the people there will catch or care that it was rooted at one point? Again, I sent it in due to screen issues and nothing else, the phone worked perfectly fine.

i doubt it. Have you even heard of anyone on here getting rejected for warranty because of root. no. you should be ok.

Thanks for the quick response. I feel a bit better about it now. When I realized that I sent the phone back with Superuser still on it I got really nervous.

Actually I am on my fourth x all for different reasons and sent two back still rooted and never had an issue.

yep...throw the phone in the return pile....send out a new phone from the refurb pile. ;)They dont check.
