I have searched and have not found anything. Trying to figure out how to MMS a small video. When I try it only says the file is too big. This is not a huge issue for me but the wife just started using the nexus 4 and she was always able to on iPhone 4. I am on Att and have set the APN settings via here and xda. Is there an app or setting

Set the video camera resolution to the lowest quality and it keep it short. The carriers have limitations with file size.

iMessage allows very large file size. Try hangouts or Facebook messenger.

Thanks for the replies. Wife doesn't use g+ and was able to send on iPhone. But android won't. So not carrier. I haven't found an app that will work.

There is a size limitation with the carriers, that is a fact. My wife just came to me the other day that she hadn't been able to send video on her One X, so I went in and lowered the resolution on the video camera and walla. I'm not that familiar with sending video on the iPhone, but more than likely it is either doing a good job of compression before sending or your wife's video app was set at a lower resolution. Be aware that switching to a different app could switch the videos being sent from no charge MMS to pay for data usage. Whatever you find to send could also mean the receipt might not receive it due to the larger size and carrier limitation. They would need to be using a different source as well.
