Sending voice text messages

Hey so in my 2018 Accord sport 2.0 T with Android auto recently noticed that when sending a text message, Android auto will repeatedly asked me if I want to send it cancel it or edit it and it takes a couple of times to send a message sometimes . Has anyone else experienced this at all? I mean I'm definitely being careful to be clear and for the system to understand my voice. Thanks for any suggestions.

Happens to me too. I think it's looking for exact words like "cancel text message" wish there was a glossary of phrases

True that. I mean for example, when it wants me to send a message I say exact words like a computerized robot which I have no problem with honestly just to get the function acting properly. Sometimes it does take me three or four tries to send a message. I have noticed lately that when my contact names have a different nickname it doesn't recognize them.. so it asks me who I want to send a message to then I have to say it which basically takes a little bit longer to speak out if that makes sense.

For the most part, Google Assistant works perfectly! I was just curious as to if anyone else experienced this at all.
