Sendng text via bluetooth

One thing I was hoping for in JB was a functional way to send text messages via Bluetooth headset, as when driving. Other forums stated that all you had to do was say 'text' followed by the message. This is not working for me, although voice dialing (again, via Bluetooth) is working fine. Any thoughts out there? Informatively, I'm using a Plantronics M1100 headset with a Razr Maxx. The Plantronics Vocalyst is not an option, since it does not recognize when Bluetooth is on, and winds up sending incoming texts out of the loudspeaker when no Bluetooth, which is unacceptable for me.

I think you should go back to that other forum and find out what App they were using... it's not a function that is built into JB... at least not one I've ever heard of without an App, and you don't need JB for that kind of functionality.

Could it be that simply Voice Command is not being invoked by the Bluetooth call button? If that is the case, how would one configure that? In watching what happens when I do use the BT call button, I'm now starting to think this might be the actual issue. Any knowledgeable input on this welcome.
