sensation unlock code?

has anybody had any luck getting the unlock for this phone on t mobil ??? if so how did you do it ??

Are you referring to unlocking the bootloader or SIM unlock?

SIM unlock = don't know

I called T-mobile, they gave me the code: 1234 and it worked for me. This was on my new Sensation with a new sim card. Hope this helps.

By law (FCC law US Congress passed) a phone carrier has to provide the unlock code of you've been with that company for 6 months or more. Get a supervisor on the phone and tell them you travel out of the country a lot and it saves you more money to just by a pre-paid sim card that it does a go phone. It shouldn't take them more than 24 hours to email you the passcode and instructions. I know this as fact.

I had my unlock code sent to me from TMobile in less than 24 hours after contacting their customer service line. The process is very simple. All you need is a non TMobile SIM and the Unlock code.

Can you cite the law or provide a link for reference? I'm not doubting you, but Wikipedia says the US has no law such as you mention. (And of course, Wikipedia NEVER, EVER has wrong information! )

Or just go into a store and have them call in for you to get the unlock code to be processed.
