do you think we'll get that with the 2.3 update. I know we won't get sense 3.0 but I hope we get that home screen. I just want to be able to enter my messages with that one click.

or maybe i'll have to get a rom...looks like the original INC and TB have one already!

Well you won't get the HTC Sense 3.0 home screen with the gingerbread update but if your phone is rooted, go here ([ROM] Incredible 2 / HTC s710d 2.3.3 ROM based on Incredible S - Beta2 (6 July, 2011) - Droid Forum - Verizon Droid & the Motorola Droid Forum). According to this, you can download a ROM with an add-on for HTC Sense 3.0. If you are interested, I suggest using Google Chrome so you can translate the webpage; it's in chinese. I don't think I'll try it, seems weird, but if you ever decide to, let me know how it goes.

Do you mean the lockscreen? If so, yes, the Dinc2 will get it eventually. A bunch of other Sense 2.1 phones have gotten it, so all its going to take is HTC adding it.

Well I decided to try out that ROM. It works very nicely on gingerbread 2.3.3. And it has an add-on for HTC Sense 3.0 so if you want the lockscreen, it has it. My only problem is it doesn't have a few HTC sense widgets such as news and Twitter. But it's awesome so if you really want the screen, get at it!

I emailed HTC about it just to see what they'd say. They replied, "... At this time, it has not been determined if the HTC Incredible 2 will be receiving an update to HTC Sense 3.0." So there's still hope for the future.

Sure about that? Go search "HTC Sense 3.0 on older phones" or something similar to that. Every result says it's not coming to any older phones besides the HTC Sensation and EVO 3D and any other phones that will be released. Sure it's rumored that different features will be updated to older phones but all of it, no..

i prefer launcher pro so I can hide all the vzw bloatware. I also like the layout and the transition affect options way better. Still nice to have a choice tho
