Sense 3.0 - Sensation vs. EVO 3D

If you watch it carefully enough the Evo3d just looks smoother going from page to page also. This is only if you have both the sensation and 3d right next to each other that you would even be able to see this. But when you watch him flip through the pages it definitely has a lower fps then the evo3d if you want to think of it that way. But it's definitely there but like he said no reason to be deterred from the sensation because it is one of the best phones out.

I dont see it. The 3D spins faster but they are two different devices, doesnt mean the Sensation lags. Maybe the Evo just spins faster, who knows. Why would we need a fix for a silly gimmick like a spinning homescreen carousel anyways? It serves no actual purpose.

Well coming from the iPhone4 I want a phone that is silky smooth when I'm moving around in it and while both of them seem to be silky smooth it just seems the evo is a tad bit more silky smooth that's why

I wouldn't call it lag since at 1:42 both calendars seem to load simultaneously but touch sensitivity/software differences like he mentioned is definitely noticeable.

There is no GPS bug, mine works just fine and I havent heard any reports of a bug. He just had it on I guess.

The sensation stutters through then spinning carousel and during homecreen transitions in that video. I bet that problem can be easily fixed if you disable the carousel affect in the settings and tone down the animations

I'll have to read the manual, did not know that could be done! I think after I install Appbrain, disabling the carousel is the first thing i'll be doing. It just seems to spin too easily.

yeah 256 is half the ram in the EVO and more ram than is ever available on an evo at any time. it's a huge amount on a phone. on a modern PC it wouldn't register at all.
