I like the original keyboard as well with the few exceptions of the suggestion in the way of send. Also I'm not a fan of the predictive suggestions but I would like to have spell check? Where I can just click the word and give me suggestions kind of like blackberry.

Lumenii,

I just recently asked this in another thread (think it was extended battery one)...I ve noticed how the thunderbolt is slippery as well, how much more of a grip does the extended battery give? Also does that extended battery door create some room under the phone possibly to get the angled charger port under while using the kickstand?

SwiftKey is my favorite, after using it for a while it does a great job of predicting my sentences.

The extended battery door provides, for me, just enough for my index finger to grip above the door and just enough for my pinky below the door. Not enough for the whole finger, but enough to keep the phone from sliding forward or backward in my hand.

The door adds thickness, but after about two days you'll get used to it. I definitely did. Sadly, however, the issue of charging while using the kickstand shows no change.

SwiftKey is fantastic. I used it for about 5 minutes on my Fascinate before I bought it. It's the only keyboard I'll use, the prediction is just spot on. Also the size of the keyboard is great, and typing in landscape fits really well for me.

I use Thumb Keyboard... I used it for about 5 minutes and once i got used to it (which didnt take long) was hooked. Made a massive improvement in typing speed for me. Originally started using it on my Xoom and when I got my TB Thursday I gave it a try and find it to be the best keyboard for me - I LOVE how it works in landscape mode and the positioning of the keys is very intuitive in portrait as well. Just my 2 cents.

I am using SwiftKey and would highly recommend it. Learns YOUR typing habits and words. Excellent.

Currently using the Gingerbread keyboard. Didn't care for swiftkey or swype personally.

I've had no problems with it. If you'd like to PM me and discuss what's going on with your device, feel free.

I actually got it to work after following directions on the app page in the market.:-[ Thanks for offering help though.

Doh I forgot to change input method on the text input field. Used to captivate where you select it in the options.

But I think I like the sense keyboard more than the gingerbread one. There's no easy way to do symbols like on sense or even the froyo keyboard. I like froyo keyboard much better than gingerbread.

In the market there is a gingerbread keyboard for sense, thats what i am using, and I like it so far.

Swiftkey is the free app of the day in the Amazon App Store today.

I just downloaded it as well. Seems great so far, but without the arrows on the stock keyboard or a trusty trackpad I'm having a little more trouble getting the cursor where it needs to be sometimes. Hopefully I can adapt!
