September security update disabled fingerprint sensor?

I updated September's security update on Pixel 4a and now my fingerprint sensor is completely unresponsive. Is this a coincidence or has anyone else had this issue? I've cleaned the phone, deleted the fingerprints, rebooted several times, and finally did a factory reset. Did not have any fingerprint issues before updating today's file. Still no response when touching the fingerprint sensor.

Whoops, missed that! I moved this from the Pixel 4 forum to the 4a forum. Thanks for pointing that out!

Just checked all our 4a 5Gs to see if your issue can be replicated and so far nothing with the Sept update. Biometrics so far no issues...

Thanks, I tried this. A search lead me to adb, the previous firmware. Wouldn't update cause previous firmware is older date. So then, found out to unlocked bootloader. After 3 attempts, finally got to previous firmware and fingerprint is not working. Ugh!
