So, now I'm on Nougat, I don't seem to have had the September security update. In the past, I've got the update around the 6th of the month, and today when I checked my phone, I'm still on the August one.

Should they be coming through as normal? Or are they all now in the background and unseen?

Not a complaint in any way, just wondering....

If you're on nrd90u, you should have Sept in that. Apparently you don't as your phone shows Aug. Not background. This was late getting out as Google apparently stopped the ota's while working on?? We don't know what.

There was a delay in rolling out the official OTAs. They should have started rolling out now so I would expect you to see the update in the coming days.

I got 7.0 as a Beta user and have Build No. NRD90M.
In the San Francisco Bay Area, I usually get the security updates after the 15th of the month.
I feel it coming because all the junk Google apps have been updating.

:-

According to the Google techs I spoke with today U is the latest patch for this month and as always is being sent out in stages.. According to him U is a maintenance patch not a security patch. That's all he could tell me..

Unenroll from Beta. Then flash factory image U September update, and presto! After that, wait for the October security patch, or maybe 7.1

Same with me.

Same here too. Received 7.0 M through beta then unenrolled. Waiting on U update and security patch. I've had issue with Gmail force closing and heavier than average battery life. Notifications don't swipe away smoothly like it did on marshmallow.

I usually get the OTAs around the 16th but it this time. Oh well.

Has any else notice in N, when you plug into s computer, not all files shows? The only way to get it to show all is to reboot your phone. I haven't figured out an answer to this yet.

Would rather not flash the latest factory image - takes me an hour or so to rebuild my phone after a reset.

I am running NRD90M which I got when I enrolled in the beta.

I just re-enrolled in the beta, and I have a 47.6 MB update waiting, presumably the U build.

My question is:

When a person enrolls in the beta, does that mean that they will not get OTA updates any more to a standard build? If so, I might have to bite the bullet and flash/factory reset.

I am pretty sure it is the T build not the U build and your OTA question is the million dollar question right now since I wasn't getting the september update without re-enrolling.

I haven't noticed that, although I don't connect the phone to my computer often. Are there specific files that are 'missing'? Have you tried just switching the phone from MTP to PTP (or vice-versa) rather than rebooting?

I can confirm, it is the T version.

And yes, good question about the updates, I suspect that may be what I should have asked right at the start.

I have tried that as well. Also tried a different cable with no luck. Tons of photos, videos, and documents are not seen on my computer. I thought it could be Windows10 but tried on a different computer with the same issue.
