I haven't found a way to remove the accessibility menu icon.

As far as I can tell, there is no way to remove it. The best I could find was to tap the accessibility menu icon and turn on "Show as edge icon". At least you can get it mostly off the screen that way. And you can drag it anywhere around the edge of the screen that's convenient for your layout.

If you power your phone off and use volume up and power button to restart, that menu has a repair apps at the bottom!

I haven't let my phone battery get below 70% to see if it made a difference. I have a 45 watt charger.
