Service is Updating?????

On Galaxy S5..have had message on desktop that says "service is updating". Anyone know what is generating that message?

Welcome to Android Central! You mean the homescreen? Is it a message that appears in its own little window, or is it a notification that appears in the notification bar at the top of the screen?

I have the same thing on my S4!
It's at the bottom of the screen - on EVERY screen.

I am trying to do a factory reset and it won't even do that - HELP!

So I found my culprit. I updated the Jobulator software today, so I took a shot and uninstalled it and, YEAH! the message is gone!
