Hey bois, so I bought a note edge from US and im going back to europe. Now, eu and us bands are not the same, I will be able to text/call, but i wont be able to use data. Will accesing services mode ,changing or expanding on which bands/frequencies my phone works, make data available here in eu? i have a n915v, so a verizon phone

Welcome to Android Central! Sorry, but you can't increase or change the bands the phone uses that way. It may be possible if you flash a different firmware, but that can also potentially brick the phone (or at least cause some significant glitches).

Thank you very much, and thanks for the fast response. Okay, I understand, If i tried to flash an international build for example, it should be able to "work",excluding the bugs or bricking, correct? if i brick it i should be able to just flash back the verizon build and everything should be good as new, right? is it, in your opinon, worth trying?

I'm afraid I don't have that much technical knowledge to give you an accurate answer. I know that some phones can be flashed with the firmware for other variants to add different band capabilities, but it's probably not possible for all phones. The forums at XDA-developers.com are a good place to continue researching this. Good luck!
