Settings changing themselves?

Call me crazy, but I think the following is happening to me...

I think settings are changing themselves. Just now, my notification LED wasn't working, so I found the Display>Notification LED section and noticed that all items were unchecked. I didn't turn any of those off. I am using AutomateIt, but have nothing changing those.

I feel like I've also noticed this with other things... is that possible? Anyone ever heard of that?

Well, the settings for sound change when I unplug my headphones or plug them in (i.e. from vibrate to ring or silent to vibrate, etc).

I've had my ringtones reset themselves after a reboot a couple times. Hasn't happened lately tho.

I haven't had any of my settings changed unless I did a factory reset which will change all your settings back to the stock settings. You could possibly have a application that would be making changes in your settings. I'm not sure what AutomateIt is or what is does. I would keep and eye on your settings and if they keep changing you may need to look at each app.

There used to be a crazy camera bug on my old eris, if you zoomed in the camera, it would turn the sound off on the alarm. Weird !
So I can believe it could happen I haven't experienced this tho. Is AutomateIt similar to Tasker ? an app that changes settings based on gps location or time?
Because if so some people have had gps issues putting them off by miles, is so maybe this is your prob an it is an unknown function of Auto.
Another thought is try uninstalling the Auto app and see if it corrects this, it just maybe a rouge app.

Well for me its the LED notification light. I have it set to all off. Yet i still see the light blink but only sometimes. This is weird to me but definitely not a big deal. Is there an app to shut the LED completely off. Like a BerryBuzz on the blackberry? that can ether customize or shut off the LED light all together?

Same here. Random changes like sound changing to silent (not helping me) icons changing the arrangement, selected sounds changing back..somethings i can 'explain' but mostly its ghostly and irritating af. I have a LG XCharge n Boost is my carrier as possible 'ingredients' to this stew....maybe its like the man tells the pig: "Its just the way things are."
